I don't know, I was just wondering, is it possible to think without words? Is it possible to form wordless thoughts? Without words, would we be the same as animals with our thoughts constrained to mere survival instincts?

Why is there war??

Now now, why is there war? Wow! Such a tough question, or is it really that tough? I've no idea thought, I haven't a belligerent nature or is it just lying dormant underneath or my layers of tranquility?

Basically, I see wars happening everyday, or rather, fights, or rather quarrels then. When people don't see eye to eye, they quarrel and when tensions escalate, they fight. And when the fighting parties posess great powers or happen to be international leaders, then they war.

And so, the root of all these war problems is the not seeing eye to eye part. Can we work out a solution to this problem? Don't mind me, I like to do a lot of self-talk and self-questioning, in fact, if ever I were being stranded on an island like robinson crusoe, I doubt I'll ever be lonely because I sure can entertain myself.

Ok people, bear with me, not bare for me, I'm about to start preaching again. People don't see eye to eye because of several reasons. One, because we are selfish. Two, because of our inability to put ourselves in the shoes of others. Hmm... Is there any other reasons? I can't think of one right now but 2 doesn't sound very wholesome to me, I'd very much prefer 3.

However, the selfish reason I think we can actually eliminate. Because if we were really to wear the shoes of others, I doubt our conscience would allow us to remain selfish. If one was selfish in the first place, one wouldn't have even bother trying to wear the shoes of others. So to me, they are mutually exclusive matters. Am I being a bit extremist here?

And so, the cure for war lies therefore in education. But then the big problem is this, in the world right now, it's the money doing all the talking, economy is king, most of us if not all are its slaves. And because King Economy says now now, I don't need artists, or musicians or any artsy-futsy people, they don't help me earn much, what I need are real workers - the engineers, the lawyers, the doctors etc. And because King is only concern about money-making, he forgot to instill in his slaves the generousity of spirit to wear the shoes of others, and that is also the king's downfall. Because without this generousity in spirit, the slaves will wage wars against one another and who then would have the time to serve the king?

Why do we have to go to school?

Now we're back to the age old question aren't we, why do we have to go to school? Isn't this what we always say when mummy trys to jerk you out of bed, you know? The time when we boys haven't reach puberty yet and we've not been labelled to be jerks yet because we are till cute adorable boys.

Anyway, enough of drifting about, let's get to the main theme, why do we have to go to school? Now seriously, I really have no idea why we have to go to school. I mean if it's for education, why, some mommies and daddies are educated enough to educate their children, or we could even employ tutors for that. And then you say, so school is for the poor then, but why do rich kids still send their children to school? For networking and politics???

Well, maybe it's not that hard a question at all, yea I can hear you people, you're saying how stupid and dumb I am. It's for the people right?! We go to school for the people, for the friends. Where else can you find a place housing so many people of around the same age as you? In most places, children or teenagers that is are the minority, and yes, it's still practised nowadays, children are still to be seen and not to be heard. And that explains why so many kids are into rock and metallic nowadays, because apparently they feel they are not being heard which is really justifiable. But mixing noise with what they are jibbering about really makes it harder for us to hear what they really really want to say. Don't get me wrong, we hear them, but their message just isn't clear.

And yes, I've drifted again. Anyway, yea, we go to school for the people. There is this quote I've heard before somewhere, "Every friend you meet brings out a whole new world in you." Obviously it should sound so much better than this but I can't remember the exact phrasing. And in school, you can find so many friends and thus you find so many new worlds that you never thought possible existed in you. In fact, it could even be larger than the actual universe in this universe? Now which is bigger, universe or world? Darn, it's confusing me. Have you ever been surprised by yourself, what you did and say under certain situations? Well, that's the you that remains undiscovered in you, the unexplored region. And so, we go to school to explore the unexplored in ourselves, not only through our friends, but through the different languages as well, english, chinese, french, all spoken languages as well as the maths, the sciences, music and art. They are what connect us to people of the past and each connection would bring out a whole new world in you. (I think it's clearer to me now, universe should be bigger though what does it realy matter anyway right?)

And isn't the journey of life just a journey of self-discovery?

nonsensical

I have never seen nothingness
I have never wore nothingess
I have never felt nothingness
But I would like to

Hercules

Hercules
Always fights courageously without fear
In the battlegrounds
In times of war
Just for the name of fame

melancholy

Melancholy is pale blue
It sounds like the breeze
It feels like the sea
It tastes like blandness

depressed

I'm depressed
Not elated, not perverted, not estatic
I'm just tired of feeling
Tired of feeling happy
Tired of feeling hurt
Tired of feeling feelings

love

When I fall in love
When all I see is love
When all I hear is love
When all I read about is love
When all my feelings are consumed by love
I stand up and surrender, with my white underwear, to love

RAGE!

I saw rage clearly
He was huge and bulky
He turned and roared thunderously
I saw his decaying teeth
I heard him purr
And I felt quizzy all over

I am

I am boring and mundane
I wonder about emptiness and loneliness
I hear hollowness and silence
I see a vast nothing
I want flaming intensity
I am boring and mundane
I pretend as pretense should be
I feel bitter-sweet
I touch depressions
I worry about worrying
I cry tears of pleasure
I am boring and mundane
I understand I understood nothing
I say what the hell just live with it
I dream of heavenly hell
I try to make my dreams come true
I hope of a better world, and a better me
I am boring and mundane

Xpression

The necessity to express one's emotions and feelings is of the utmost importance. Languages, music, art even sports such as soccer are an outlet of expression of thyself. Language is a technical expression of logic relying on the tone of voice and body motions to express the emotions. Music and art are more the languages of the soul and heart for it has no words to imprison them. They have no definite shape and thus would take the different shapes in different hearts but the essense of it remains.
For in much wisdom is much grief:
and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
